Donna Novack and the award-winning children's music of Harpbeat create fun family concerts that children and their parents can enjoy together. Donna brings a unique musical sound to original children's songs, as well as classic tunes, as she combines her large harp with other instruments.

A concert by Harpbeat is very interactive and the audience is encouraged to join in on dances and sing-a longs. There is also lots of opportunity for curious kids to try their hand at a percussion instrument and play along to the music.

Harpbeat has been entertaining kids across Michigan for over 10 years, and the music of Harpbeat has been awarded the Creative Child Magazine's seal of excellence. Additional, Donna Novack has won several John Lennon Writing Awards for her original children's music. Music from their Harpbeat Around the World show is featured on Harpbeat's acclaimed CD, available at Amazon.com.

Harpbeat's concerts run 45 minutes and can be set-up in almost any space in your library. Contact Midwest Library Shows through the link below for booking information or check out details about specific concert programs below.

Harpbeat Around The World

Harpbeat's most popular show, Harpbeat Around The World , is a musical journey around the world, that includes stops in Mexico, Japan, Austria, Germany, Russia, Canada, Egypt, and South Africa, before returning back to the USA. As Donna introduces each song, she explains how the song is important to that country and culture. The audience will also get to hear some parts of songs sung in different languages...and try out learning a new foreign language themselves. It is an interactive musical adventure that will be the talk of your library long after the last song is sung.
